Penguins started a new unit for writing about slaves and gladiators in Rome. They had a fantastic time making their own gladiator helmets on Tuesday.
In maths this week, Penguins have been multiplying 2 and 3-digit numbers with 1-digit numbers. They have been looking at different methods to work this out using concrete resources and partitioning.
In science, Penguins have been completing their assessments for sound. They have learnt that sound is caused by vibrating air particles. These particles bump into each other to create waves of sound that can travel to our ears.
In geography, Penguins have been completing their assessments on Eastern Europe. They were able to remember lots of facts about it, including that it has a continental climate.
All of the Penguins staff wish you a very relaxing and happy break. We will see you all after Easter.
There is no extra homework, but please continue to read and practise your times tables when you can.
