Penguins have been making switches.
This week in science, Penguins learnt how to make a switch using binder clips and cardboard. They then added it to a simple circuit that they had already made to check whether the equipment was working. They learnt that the light would not turn on when the circuit was broken.
In maths, we have continued our work on coordinates and have been plotting points on a grid. They have used their reasoning skills to decide where the next set of plot points are going to be.
In literacy, Penguins have started their new unit of work based around the story The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse. It has been really good to see them writing their own sentences using the model.
