In maths, Penguins have been learning about fractions larger than one.

In literacy, the children have been freeze framing a scene from the book Jemmy Button and writing about the character's feelings at this point in the story. They have also learnt about slavery as this might be something that is going to happen to the main character. 

In science, the children have been learning more about evaporation and the difference between water vapour and steam.

This week in DT, Penguins have been finishing off their DT unit by making a sandwich for someone else. They did this by making a note of what the other person wanted and then designing the sandwich before making it on Friday.

After the children made their sandwiches, they then evaluated them based on the other person's requests.
