Congratulations to the children who received star of the week, handwriting and presentation award and a pen licence this week. Keep up the hard work.
Today is World Book Day. The children have really enjoyed dressing up. This morning we discussed our favourite books, looking at the setting, the plot sequence and our opinions on the stories. The children then wrote their own book report on their favourite book.
On Tuesday, we took part in a science meeting with other schools via teams. The talk was taken by Zoo Educator Becky Moore from Hertfordshire Zoo. We got to see lots of animals, learn about their features and their habitats. The children were really engaged and enjoyed the morning and our favourite animal was the camel.
Monday will continue to be our P.E day for this half-term. Please ensure earrings have been taken out prior to coming to school.
Our library slot will be on Monday afternoons. This is a great opportunity for children to change their books.
Our spellings test will continue on Wednesdays.
