A huge well done to those children who received star of the week, handwriting and presentation certificates, 25m swimming certificates, head teachers awards and tackling tables certificates this week. Keep up the hard work.
Last Friday, Canaries visited the Methodist Church for an interactive religious education session. They were able to listen to stories, music and play games on the tablets as well as answer questions about what they had learnt. The children were all given a certificate with their answers on it and this was sent home the same day.
The children worked really hard on their final art pieces. They have created Islamic, geometric clay tiles and will be painting them early next week.
Swimming will continue on Wednesday. Please bring a swimming kit to school and earrings need to be removed. Our library slot is Wednesday afternoon, so this is a great chance for any book changes.
The children are looking forward to the Disco on the 11th February. If your child is staying at the disco, they will need additional permission to leave after the disco or to be collected.
