Well done to the children who received star of the week, handwriting certificates and tackling tables certificates this week. Keep up the hard work!
This week has been a busy week for all in Canaries. We have written our story of The Snowman and are set to proofread and edit it on Thursday and Friday.
In maths, we will be moving on from multiplication to division using the bus stop method.
In science, we are learning about living things and their habitats. We took some time out of the classroom and investigated what insects we could find in the outdoor learning garden. We have researched the insects we found, and it created some in-depth conversations around insect habitats. This is in preparation for our science lesson next week. We all had a great time.
Our library slot is on a Wednesday afternoon. Children are able to change their books if they wish.
Spellings will be sent out on a Wednesday via email. If you would like a printed copy, please let me know.
Thank you for your continued support.
Mrs Bussey, Mrs Gosling and Mrs Fyson.
