Congratulations to the above pupils who all received certificates this week for handwriting, Tackling Tables and for being our Star of the Week. Well done to you all.
Our new science unit for this half-term is living things and their habitats. We started by learning about the life cycle of an oak tree and the interconnection between oak trees and squirrels.
In history, we have been learning about the Transatlantic Slave Trade. Our first lesson focused on the 3 stages that the slave ships undertook and what was traded at each port.
We have started learning about division in maths. We showed on our whiteboards what we could remember before being taught how to make our division calculations more efficient. We also used maths dictionaries to define key terms, such as divisor and quotient.
