We have been learning how to multiply 3-digit by 2-digit numbers in maths this week. We used the Area Model to help us partition our numbers and the column method to add them together.

Our literacy focus has moved from reading the class novel to learning about the key features of newspaper reports. We identified both visual and language features and learnt how to write our own headlines.

The above pictures were taken during our science investigation. We were using sieves, filter paper and magnets to investigate which mixtures could be separated. We made predictions and wrote our own conclusions based on our results.
