Handwriting Star

Phonics

We have continued practising all the different ways to make the 'aw' sound.

History

We discovered that King John took too many taxes from the people and threw them in prison without a fair trial. This led to the Barons being very angry. They drew up the Magna Carta in which King John promises to be fair to the people. We still have the Magna Carta today.

Science

We explored all the different animal groups and sorted animals according to their features.

Maths

We have continued our addition skills using number lines.

Literacy

We have found out about prefixes and used them to write sentences in our own version of the story 'The Queens Hat'.
