During D.T, the children were tasked with designing a switch, so we chose to design a Christmas tree with a star that lights up, by creating an electrical circuit using wires, bulbs, cells and paper clips. 

RHSE

  

During RHSE our lesson focused on boosting self-esteem. Kingfishers discussed feelings and how we sometimes think negative thoughts about ourselves. They were then asked to write their negative feelings down. Next, they screwed up the negative feelings and wrote a positive message about themselves. We have linked their positive messages together and made a self-esteem chain which we hung proudly in the classroom. 

 

Miss Rutter, Lisa & Miss Wardle would like to wish all our pupils and their families a very Happy Christmas and 2024! Miss Wardle will be teaching in another school placement during the Spring Term, but we look forward to welcoming her back in the Summer Term.
