This week in literacy, Penguins have been moving through the first few plot points of the story, The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse. They have been using thesauruses to look up synonyms for given words to help develop their vocabulary. They have also been working on developing their sentence structure.
This week in maths, Penguins have been looking over their reasoning papers to practise some methods of working out reasoning problems. They have been specifically looking at worded addition and subtraction problems as well as rounding.
In geography, the children have been discussing how King's Lynn has changed over the years. They have been specifically looking at the increase in population over time.
On Friday, the children took part in the Rudolph Run to raise money for Tapping House.
