Parents activities

Our Learning Catalysts, Carole Walker and Karen Mason, often organise activities for parents both to work with their children and for parents themselves. These have included: literacy skills; training for parents in how to support children learning to read which has led to parents coming into school to help children with their reading in each of the classes; RWI phonics training; budget management; jewellery making; love food hate waste; food taster sessions; build a bear workshop; pottery workshop; story sack workshop; British heart start afternoon workshop; Solihull parenting courses (3 hours a week over a 10 week period); Basic sugar craft course for children and parents;  1 to 1Maths tuition ; Christmas foliage workshop; Festive Biscuit making workshop.
